This report describes a structured observation study of 28 IO meetings and work sessions (technology mediated) at the Statoil Hydro oilfield Brage. The purpose of performing the study has been to collect techniques and methods for successful collaboration, and investigate features that should be enabled in technology or through training in order to let IO teams make good decisions together and implement them. A method for observing interaction and interaction skills is described, and general recommendations from the observation study are presented.
