Elena Parmiggiani defends her thesis :"Integration by Infrastructuring: The Case of Subsea Environmental Monitoring in Oil and Gas Offshore Operations"

The trial lecture takes place on Monday 21 September at 10:15 in Rådssalen, Hovedbygget at Gløshaugen, Trondheim on the following prescribed subject:

"What Can Studies of Infrastructuring Learn from Participatory Design and Vice-Versa?".

The public defence of the thesis takes place in the same auditorium  at 13:15. 

Elena conducted her PhD at the Department of Computer and Information Science at NTNU, and the following Assessment Committee is appointed for her PhD:

  • Associate Professor, Dr. Steven Jackson, Cornell University, USA
  • Professor, Dr. Helena Karasti, Luleå University of Technology, Sweden
  • Professor, Dr. Dag Svanæs, Department of Computer and Information Science (administrator)
Her main supervisor has been Professor Eric Monteiro and Co-supervisors has been Professor Jon Atle Gulla and Professor II Vidar Hepsø.
