Being of particularly critical nature, the nuclear energy industry has developed and implemented probabilistic based methods of dynamic risk assessment and management. Those methods originally developed in the environment of scheduled power plant shutdowns for maintenance were over the last 20 years particularly, effectively adapted and deployed to environments of more continual and selective maintenance while the plant being in operation making them potentially more attractive to and consistent with oil and gas operations.Based upon SKF ERIN Engineering core compete in nuclear energy industry risk assessment, the IO Centre will provide lessons learnt and recommendations on dynamic risk assessment in operational planning in oil and gas operations.
